Festival focused on contemporary improvised music, realized in the years 2016-2018
The New Inspirations music festival was realized for three years in cooperation with OZ Šušľavá mušľa in the premises of the Viola art club in Prešov. The main idea of the festival was to bring to young musicians, children, teachers and a wider audience a new perspective on contemporary improvised music, enrich and inspire them through creative workshops, discussions and concerts of original musicians. The event presented the author’s projects, which were a fusion of different styles, but they were connected by one starting point – improvisation and unmistakable expression. As part of the workshops, the festival focused on creativity and spontaneous music making, as well as finding new ways in music.
