The Voicingers festival has a long tradition in Poland, the version of “On Tour” takes place in Slovakia since 2018 in Banská Štiavnica. The main idea of the festival serves music, musicians and those, who have respect for music.
Voicingers educates young musicians during various individual hours and group workshops. Breathing techniques, improvisation, interpretation, rhythm issue, articulation, relaxation, playing in band and an improvised group singing are phenomens, on which are focused workshops in Jazz Collective Interaction and Open Forms styles. They are designed for professional musicians and enthusiasts and amateurs, they are also for musical educators. Workshops organizes a group of active international musicians and artists. Lesson oscillates around jazz and improvised music. As part of adult teaching, lectores also work with children and develop their creativity.
Voicingers also works for those whose life is art, for whom a creative approach in all forms is an indispensable condition for filling the road through the meanders of life which are full of secrets. In addition to creative workshops, it also brings original music projects in which the improvisation element is axis and the key to forming music.
